Please note that Neutrogena prices are denominated exclusively in USD. If your card is held in euros, pounds, yen, or another currency, the purchase is converted to your home currency by your bank at the time of billing. We have no control over those exchange rates and recommend checking with your issuer if you need an exact figure in advance.
Payment Security
All card data submitted to Neutrogena travels through a secure, encrypted channel and is processed by a PCI-DSS-certified provider. We practice strict data minimization: only the details necessary to complete your purchase are handled, and none of your card numbers are retained afterward. This layered approach keeps your information shielded from interception and misuse.
Authorization & Billing
Authorization and billing are two distinct stages of our payment process. First your bank approves the transaction and holds the amount; only when your order is confirmed do we bill, or capture, that amount. This two-step approach protects you by ensuring you are never charged for an order that could not be validated.
When You Are Charged
The moment your checkout is complete, the order total is captured from your card. You may first see a temporary authorization hold that then settles into the final charge within a day or two, depending on your bank's posting schedule. Either way, only the confirmed order amount is ever collected from you.
Declined Payments
There are several common reasons a card is declined at 1dn0wn-uq.myshopify.com: expired cards, exceeded credit limits, mistyped digits, or a mismatch between the billing and card address. We suggest correcting the obvious details first and retrying once. If the problem persists across more than one card, the issue almost always lies with the issuing bank rather than our checkout.

Whether you pay by credit or debit card, the network fee is absorbed by us rather than passed to you, and there is never a minimum-order surcharge. Sales tax, calculated according to your delivery location, is the sole statutory addition to the listed price.
